This year’s Belgrade Design Week (BDW) will be held from the 6th to the 11th of October 2014.
In addition to the international BDW conference, for the ninth year in a row this year, on Thursday the 9th, Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th of October, the following programs will also be organized: the BDW Designpark exhibition, the professional program BDW Designlabs, and the urban program BDW Premiers.
The subject of this year’s conference is Sense Squared, showing an alphabet of global and domestic creativity from the categories of architecture, advertising, branding, business, communication, digital, design, film, fashion, publishing and entrepreneurship which will all be presented in the unique BDW way.
At this year’s BDW we can expect the world premiere of an important new project “100% Serbia”, which will uniquely present a multimedia exhibition of Serbian creative thought, and after Belgrade will travel to ten other major world destinations.
As in the previous years, Belgrade Design Week 2014 will present the audience with more than 100 unique “works” from twenty countries around the world, as well as the most valuable representatives of Serbian creative industries, in the presence of more than 150 accredited media representatives from around the world which will place Belgrade and Serbia on the map of creative leaders with concepts such as innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, progress with the now traditional BDW slogan “Create new value.”
For the first time in its ten-year history, the BDW festival is held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Serbia and the Mayor of Belgrade, in cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, with the crucial support of the embassies and institutions of Japan, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, and Israel.
