The agency BeoQuest has launched interesting games in the capital called “Belgrade quest.”
All those who have always wanted to participate in a treasure hunt and like to spend time outdoors finally have the opportunity to make their dreams come true. Recently, Belgrade has a new idea which places the city in a different perspective and encourages a competitive spirit.
BeoQuest is the first agency in Serbia that professionally organizes treasure hunts for both private and corporate events. They specialize in creating events that are based on dynamic activities suitable for both adults and children.
On Saturday, July 12th, from 7.00 pm, the first “Belgrade Quest” will be held, and will include solving puzzles and challenges through which participants will discover details of the city which they pass by every day but rarely notice.
The aim of the quest is to collect answers to questions that will guide you through time and space. You don’t need any special preparation in order to participate – just ingenuity, imagination, and comfortable walking shoes. To win points, and eventually win at the end, you need to solve puzzles, find details on specific locations or creatively complete the set activity and record it with you video cam. The questions are written so that you can get the answers only if you are in the right location.
The quest details and instructions for registration can be found on their Facebook page (facebook.com/ beoquest), and a lucky few can even win special discounts.
Participation costs 3,000 dinars per team (three to six people) and everyone who registers to the mailing list by Wednesday can participate in the prize winning game and win free participation for their team.
A treasure hunt
According to content and part of the city covered, the Belgrade quests can be divided into three groups:
– Belgrade 101 quests include fun activities in the city centre. Do you want to know every detail of Republic Square? You know where they filmed some cult movie scenes? You’ve seen all the monuments, facades and side streets of Knez Mihailova?
– “Krug dvojke” is known to everyone as the tram path that limits the city centre. This area is full of interesting sites that bind the stories that you might not be aware of.
– Urban Playground is a collection of games that are not tightly bound to a particular location but are more concentrated on participants’ creativity. Each quest will have a unique theme on which all the tasks will be based on, so quests will be organized in nature, and will include family, music, film, international and mystery quests.
Explore the city is a special program for visitors who wish to see the city in a different light. Without the constraints of time and competition, this tour is ideal for those who don’t want to compete but still want to find out what lies beneath Belgrade.
